Copy the Grid software, and run the installer
- Step 1 : Begin installation
- Step 2 : Choose the type of cluster required

- Step 7 : Specify Network Interface Usage
- Step 8 : Storage Option ; we select FLEX ASM
- Step 9 : Create the diskgroup DATA
- Step 10 : Specify ASM password
- Step 11 : Failure Isolation Support :
- Step 12 : Specify Management option, if you have
- Step 13 : Privileged Operating system groups
- Step 14 : Specify Installation Location :
- Step 15 : Create inventory
- Step 16 : Root scripts execution configuration, you can enable automatic or manually.
- Step 17 : Perform prerquisit Checks
I have ignored this warning, and it is not an error ; {Warning about using the ASM disks with UDEV}
- Step 18 : begin the Install processes
In the step 16, If you want to execute the root.sh manually, then
Run these scripts as root user on the 3 nodes sequentially.
# /u01/app/oraInventory/orainstRoot.sh
Changing permissions of /u01/app/oraInventory.
Adding read,write permissions for group.
Removing read,write,execute permissions for world.
Changing groupname of /u01/app/oraInventory to oinstall.
The execution of the script is complete.
# /u01/app/12.1.0/grid/root.sh
