1. Upgrade Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud control from 12.1.0.4 to 13.2.0.0:
I have written an article that I list all the steps to upgrade the OEMCC from 12c4 to 13c2, check this link.
2. Check OEMCC Agent current version:
We are going to check the status of the OEMCC Agent 12c4 on Oracle Linux 6.10.
a. With the command emctl:
- Using the interface of OEMCC 13c2 :
3. Upgrade OEMCC Agent steps from 12c4 to 13c2 :
BTW : After the upgrade of OEMCC 12c4 to 13c2, the new version 13c2 can continue monitoring the servers when the agent was also the version 12c4.
a. Step 1 : Go to Setup -> Manage Cloud Control -> Upgrade Agents:
- Step 2 : Add Agents, we have 3 hosts and the local agent of the OEMCC :
- Step 3 : Select all agents
Check the list to be updated
Then Click on Submit.
Note : The execution of the root.sh script based on your last sudoers configuration, if not you run the root.sh script manually.
- Step 4 : The upgrade of the 4 agents is done: (May this processes can take many minutes)
- Check OEMCC Agent new version 13c2:
We are going to check the status of the OEMCC Agent 13c2.
- With the command emctl
After a successful upgrade, we are going to check the new status of our agent :
